We thought it would be fun to share a little of our founder’s history. Hollyoak House creative director Julia Arlen (Julia Kostreva) designed her first line of stationery products while in college when she couldn’t find a planner notebook that was both functional and pretty. For 10 years, Julia designed stationery and accessories to make work-life a little more beautiful. Julia Kostreva products have been sold at stores nationwide like Target, Anthropologie, CB2, Serena & Lily, Urban Outfitters and West Elm.

There’s some insight to a brand evolution. In 2024, she founded Vivien Liberty, a stationery & lifestyle brand centered around the joy of making every day a little more beautiful.
